Royal Challengers Bangalore also called as RCB is an IPL (Indian Premier League) cricket team, based in the city of Bangalore. Royal Challengers Bangalore team was purchased by Vijay Mallya, who paid US$111.6 million for Royal Challengers Bangalore. This was the second highest bid for a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), next only to Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries' bid of $111.9 million for the Mumbai Indians team.
